Richmond International Forest Products (RIFP), a subsidiary of Forest City Trading Group (FCTG), has been a leader in the forestry products industry for over 40 years. We're seeking an Import Purchasing Accountant to join our import operations team and support our growing national and international footprint.

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with traders, suppliers, and internal teams to manage inventory, purchase orders, and customs clearance.
  • Track and analyze import inventory, costs, and shipments, ensuring accurate records and timely updates.
  • Review invoices and prepare them for payment, while problem-solving discrepancies with external partners.
  • Assist in audits and provide subject-matter expertise to company leaders.
  • Cross-train with teammates to provide backup support, including occasional front-desk coverage.
What You Bring
  • Associate’s degree (required); Bachelor’s in Accounting, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, supply chain, procurement, or related fields.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); AS/400 experience is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

This is an in-office role (Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM). Remote work is not available.
